…amongst many other things. Short Track Speedskater, Olympic Medalist, Gourmet Chef…
So, I know I’ve been seriously M.I.A. lately and horribly remiss in updating the blog. Real life is sucking up all my time: Looking for work, moving, writing for an online newspaper of sorts and trying to enjoy the last vestiges of summer here at Tahoe before it’s gone. (It’s been known to snow the day after labor day. As in “That’s it, baby! Summer’s over!!!”) But before it is, hopefully we’ll have a nice, long Indian Summer and a beautiful fall so that I can enjoy the following:
Well, I have to admit, this photo just made me howl with laughter, and I thank Travis for not only the permission to use his photo, but for the much needed chuckle.
His caption? “Speaks for itself”…and so it does.
It not only is inspiring me to fix my bike (I love the bike trails at Tahoe in the fall. Summer, you’re fighting the crowds, but it’s a little known fact that bike riding and hiking here in the fall is glorious) but also it’s the inspiration for an article I’m writing for the online mag, so I’ll keep you posted on that.
But mostly, the runs on fat is not only funny, but SO true. In which case, I’ve decidedly got plenty of energy to spare.
Get on your bikes people!
And Thank You Travis for the photo.
